Frequently Asked Questions

What Is An Archive?
An archive is a digitally recorded file of the live audio broadcasts of our church services. These archives make it possible for anyone to listen to our past church services at any time of the day. You can either listen to an archive immediately by streaming the audio from our web server, or you can download them onto your computer so that it can be listened to without being connected to the Internet.

What is streaming?
Streaming is a technology that pushes audio and/or video signals through the Internet to any place in the world that has Internet access.

What content is being streamed?
The audio of all of our local services will broadcasted live for anyone to listen to. In the future, we will be investigating the possibility of streaming the video as well.

When does the live streaming start?
Streaming starts when our services start, according to the schedule. As there is a limit to the number of connections that our streaming server can handle, listeners will be connected on a first come, first serve basis.

How do I listen to the services?
There are two requirements. First, download and install the RealPlayer program, and secondly, register with us as a listening subscriber. Both are described below.

How Do I Download and Install the RealOne player?
Streaming requires our listeners to have the RealOne player installed on their computer. If you do not have this program installed, first check the RealOne system requirements to determine if your computer is capable of running the player. If so, we provide instructions to get the latest version of the free RealOne player for Windows.

What do I do to subscribe?
New listeners need to fill in their full name and address in order to create a user login name and password. Each time you want to listen to a either live or archived services, just log in with your login name and password to get connected.
