Playback Statistics shows the quality of the signal
monitored by the RealOne player. To view your Playback Statistics,
click Playback Statistics from the Tools menu.
Please note: You must be streaming in order
to see any statistics.
Average bandwidth is the rate at which the
player receives the audio/video signals, averaged over the duration
of playing. This rate depends heavily upon the speed and quality
of your Internet connection and can be adversely affected by the
activity of others on the Internet. This activity can result in
various distortions and pauses in the signal. Various examples are
shown below.
