Uganda: Many More Souls Awakened

After baptizing hundreds of souls each month in November, December, and January, word came to us of a great open door in the central part of the country.
One of the Brothers who the Lord is using is Brother Fred Kiyingi. When Brother Fred was a young man, he looked up to a popular Pentecostal preacher named Bishop Deo Mukasa Balabyekkubo. Brother Fred was raised Catholic but joined the Pentecostals in 1989, coming into the Message later the same year.

Bishop Deo was very popular in the country and had a large following. In the early years of the introduction of the Message in Uganda, the Bishop became acquainted with the Message but would not risk his position to fully embrace it, though
he preached some of the truths of the Message.
It was said that at one point, he had decided to publicly declare the truth of the Message and his belief of it, but passed away before he could do so.

Bishop Deo had a much younger brother called Bishop Sonko, who embraced the End Time Message in January of 2022. He had come to Brother Fred on the first day of the year to argue with him about the fact that people were accepting the truth and being re-baptized in four of his local churches.
After spending time with Brother Fred and hearing the things God had
done in these last days, he was convinced and was baptised in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ that very day.

Brother Sonko brought his younger brother named Pastor Byansi Kkubo, to a meeting in Seeta at Brother Fred’s church in October 2023. Brother Tim Dodd preached and the Lord moved miraculously among the thousands present for all to see. The Lord showing all and especially the visitors, this end time gospel is not a philosophy but the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit.

Brother Fred Kiyingi, who holds regular minister’s meetings for the pastors and other ministers who have recently embraced the Message, was visited by Pastor Kkubo soon after the October meeting. Being convinced, he soon invited Brother Fred to come and speak to his congregation. Brother Fred sent his son ahead to see what he would find, and he reported back that the man was taking the things he was hearing in the minister’s meetings back to his people.
A date was set, and Brother Fred visited Prayer Palace Christian Fellowship in Kayunga District of Uganda in February, 2024.
Expecting about 100 people, Brother Fred was surprised to see about 500 people waiting for him to speak. The Lord was gracious and moved upon the people’s hearts convicting them of the truth of the Word of God pertaining to the Godhead and water baptism. The people responded to the Word by asking to be baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. How much like the Book of Acts where it was not just a rejoicing but a readiness for action. “Men and Brethren, what must we do?”  They were ready for baptism.

To feed the hungry souls, 20,000 Bibles in the local language are on the way to Uganda, as well as 29,000 Church Age Books in three of the local languages. In addition, thousands of books of individual messages of Brother Branham are printed monthly within the country.
There have been hundreds of congregations which have come into the Message in Uganda.
Many of these have lost their buildings to denominational overlords who have repossessed the structures because the people no longer adhere to the denominational creeds. We are thankful that some funds have been given to renew our effort to build simple structures for these congregations. In total, $2,000,000 is needed to meet all the needs. We look to the Lord Who alone is able to do this.
