Let Us Run – Opening Torch Relay

Torch Relay Presentation:

For Summer Camp 2024 we held an Olympic activity with the theme, “Let Us Run”, which  was taken from the scripture Hebrews 12:1 and a sermon that Brother Ed Byskal preached in 1986, in Ruth, North Carolina. There are many details that cannot be written regarding the activity, but it was very apparent from the very start that the activity was not just a “camp event”, but was supernaturally tied to the services and the Word that was delivered by Brother Ron and Andrew Spencer.

The video presented was shown to the campers at the beginning of the activity, at the “Opening Ceremonies” of the event. As no Olympics is complete without the Torch being carried, we did a short video to show the Torch being carried throughout the area of the Pacific Northwest. However, man carries a natural torch, but to every believer, the Torch of God’s Word is what we are challenged to carry to every kindred, tongue, and nation. We trust this little video will be an encouragement to you.
