Overview:

The village folk are happily making preparations for the arrival of their beloved Prince, when a mysterious stranger appears who doesn’t seem to share their joy. His brooding temper is forgotten as admiring crowds flock around Prince Frederick to hear a magnanimous account of the ongoing war.

When the speech is violently interrupted the villagers are left grief stricken, and demand justice. The villain flees, and if he is apprehended his fate is certain. Surely no one can save him now. Or can they?
